As the daughter of a Spelman alumna, and a graduate of Howard University School of nursing, Alberta consistently lauded the importance of continuing education. William undoubtebldly felt the same as they paid for each of their 3 children to attend university for 4 years. Understanding that all families do not have this access, the Foundation will support the educational endeavors of students attending HBCUs or vocational programs. These scholarships will create opprtunkites.
Over the years, William and Alberta traveled extensively and supported others in doing the same. From school trips to adventures studying abroad, they contributed thousands of dollars to others experiential learning. The Foundation will contour this works will year-round scholarships to fund travel experiences worldwide. Additionally , each year, WAFF will partner with the Ellis Family to host one family for their annual, historic reunion - which combines familial tradition with unique cultural experiences.
William and Alberta fueled the dreams pf their family through moral and financial support. The Foundation will provide grants to small businesses in order to drive collective economics.
